On April 13, 2024, Prof. Akshaya Kumar (Department of English, Panjab University) and Prof. Ajanta Paul (Principal, Women’s Christian College, Kolkata) launched and discussed Bitan Chakraborty’s new work of fiction, The Blight and Seven Short Stories (translated by Malati Mukherjee), at Eastern Metropolitan Club, Kolkata. Poet and critic Jagari Mukherjee moderated the session.
